Ch de l'Eperonniere

Coming from a family of winegrowers, Mathieu Tijou took over, with his wife Charlotte, the family property purchased by his great-grandfather in 1900: the Château de l'Éperonnière. Immersed in the wine world from his childhood, Mathieu studied oenology in Nantes and Bordeaux, then cut his teeth in South Africa and Australia. After ten years of winemaking at Château Soucherie, Mathieu chose to strike out on his own by creating a new vineyard on a terroir that he knows well, worked for a long time by his family in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon.
