Tasting Notes Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon exemplifies the complexity of this classic Napa Valley vintage. Bright and vibrant black cherry in the glass, the lifted aromatics of black raspberry, Bing cherry, cola berry, currants, menthol, cedar, sage, and bakers chocolate blend seamlessly into flavors of more black cherry, boysenberry, plum, anise, blood orange, peppercorns, leather, graphite, and dried blueberry. The finish is long and persistent with balanced tannins and bright acidity.

The Story

This classic Napa Cabernet is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Yountville AVA. It comes from the esteemed Yount Mill Estate Vineyards. The vineyards are certified organically farmed and are owned by the Hoxsey family, which is a fifth-generation grower with fourth generation vineyard management. It is a perfect year-round wine that drinks well above its price point and pairs beautifully with Grilled steaks or lamb, Grass fed burgers with sautéed cremini mushrooms, caramelized onions, and blue cheese on a brioche bun; Spinach and arugula ricotta and dumplings in a rich tomato sauce; and Braised short ribs with creamy polenta.
