The Character
Tasting Notes Bursting with tropical aromatics of stone fruits and melons. The flavors of honeydew melon, white peach and a touch of citrus all are found woven through this rare, old vine Sauvignon Blanc from the Napa Valley.
The Story
Melrose Vineyard is located on the Napa Valley floor in Rutherford off of the south side of Zinfandel Lane. There are 82 acres of vines consisting of rare old vine Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot. It was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1973.

Krutz Family Cellars was founded in summer of 2003 when Patrick Krutz produced sixty cases of wine. The idea was to purchase grapes in order to produce a small amount of wine for family and friends. However, demand soon changed that plan and Krutz Family Cellars continues to grow.
