Winemaking After the whole grapes have been pressed, the clarified must is fermented for around three weeks in 30 hl wooden barrels

The Character

Tasting Notes Red-apple, lychee and an undertone of fresh thyme and lemon-zest character make this sleek, lively pinot grigio very refreshing. Clean, rather long finish.

Overall Brilliant pale straw yellow & depth colour

The Story

Terroir: The hill, called a Punggl in the local dialect, is only 50 meters high and extends to the south of Magrè. It sits at between 220 and 250 meters above sea level. The soil is a stratification of grey clay sand with a high clay content.
Climate: The Mediterranean climate is characterized by hot summers and mild winters, as well as the Ora, a warm afternoon wind that comes from Lake Garda to the south.

Nals Margreid – a name associated for centuries to wine production and wine culture. A tradition that goes back to 1764, when the Campi estate was built on the site of our current winery. Nals Winery was founded in 1932 and with the merge of Margreid Winery in 1985, Nals Margreid was established. Today, 138 wine-growing families cultivate around 160 hectares of vineyards.
