The Story

"Agricanto" derives from two words, "Agri" and "Canto". The former translates to "belonging to the field, to the land" and the latter evokes gratitude towards that same land and the gifts it bears. Just as the name is blended, so is the liqueur from these different gifts. This technique is a Venetian tradition born in the 1940's, where rural families would take items from nature that were commonly present and mix them into something beautiful. Paladin has converted these recipes into a modern digestif that matches any dessert and will satisfy any palate, though we hope it's yours.

Brand Story

Paladin was founded by Valentino Paladin in 1962, near Treviso in Motta di Livenza. He moved soon after to Annone Veneto, a historic village on the ancient Roman road Postumia. Valentino discovered his passion for winemaking as a child following his grandfather around a cellar, and passed that on to his family who now operate under a third generation. Valentino's granddaughter Francesca now runs operations with the same passion and dedication
