The Character
Tasting Notes In the glass it is straw yellow with greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose there are crunchy notes of citrus, orange blossom with hints of yeast, bread crust, and pastry. This leads to a minerally, chalky finish. On the palate it shows how lively and dynamic it is. Fritz has a tense freshness that leads to the distinctly mineral chalky finish.
Overall Light, fresh and mineral driven
Mouthfeel Minerally, crisp and tart
Aromas citrus, orange blossom, bergamot, brioche, chalky
Selling Point A great example of a pet-nat that is consistent. Not funky
Pairings Raw and cooked fish, shellfish, charcuterie
Sustainability Certified Organic , Biodynamic In Practice , Natural Fermentation , No Sulfites Added
