The Story
We handpicked Zinfandel, Syrah and Petite Sirah from our estate RBZ Vineyard and separately fermented each varietal in stainless steel before aging in French oak. The use of 25% new French oak allows the naturally fruity aromas of Zinfandel to shine, while bringing in light hints of oaky spice. A splash of Syrah and Petite Sirah are blended in before bottling to build tannin, structure, and bring a bit more depth to the finish.
