In 1970, Mr. VERDAGUER Marcel took over the estate. Faced with the ever-increasing demand for natural sweet wines, he chose to bring the red grape varieties to the village cooperative cellar, and to devote himself exclusively to the production of Rivesaltes, which he markets in small bulk to individuals.
In 1974, Jean-Hubert, his son joined him. In 1989, he took charge of the estate, helped by his wife Brigitte, and embarked on the bottle adventure. Passionate about rancios, they produce several Rivesaltes vintages, and offer a rancio vintage vinified dry.
In 2006, Delphine, our eldest daughter, joined us partially on the estate and ensured the vinification of the red grape varieties. She is gradually creating a range of single varietals (Carignan 2006) excellent local wines. In 2017, she produced her first vintage VERTIGE dry white wine (macabeu and grenache gris).
In 2011, 1st organic vintage: Côtes du Roussillon Villages and IGP Côtes Catalanes: Grenache noir.
