Navy Strength Mule

Start your summer cocktail game strong with a Moscow Mule featuring Bareksten’s award-winning Navy Strength Gin! Powerful and pronounced, nothing tempers a high proof gin quite like bold flavors of ginger and lime. Add a float of your favorite amaro to the top of this whip-quick cocktail for added depth and complexity.

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Bareksten Navy Strength Gin

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

½ oz Simple Syrup

Ginger beer

Candied Ginger & Lime Wedge for Garnish

Tools: Jigger, Barspoon

Build starting with the first three ingredients in your favorite Mule cup. Fill with crushed ice. Top with ginger beer to brim and stir to incorporate. Garnish with a candied ginger for a sweet treat!

 

1850 Spritz

Nothing says poolside like a bright, refreshing summer spritz! The star of this spritz is an Alpine amaro over 170 years in the making: Foletto Bitters 1850. Generous botanicals (orange zest, anise, cacao) are balanced by an enveloping tannic structure. Top this spritz off with the perfect Prosecco (Paladin Millesimato Brut) and kiss your troubles goodbye…

Recipe

Ingredients:

½ oz Foletto Bitters 1850

½ oz Falernum (lime cordial)

½ oz Dry Vermouth

½ oz Fresh Lime Juice

Paladin Prosecco

Tools: Jigger, Barspoon

Fill a sturdy wine glass with crushed ice. Pour first four ingredients over ice and then slowly top with Prosecco until full. Stir gently to incorporate. Garnish with your favorite fruits and enjoy!

 

Summer in Venice

The New York Sour gets a Venetian makeover! The base is a traditional blend of bourbon, citrus and a little sweetness topped with an Italian liqueur that you’ll only find in Northeast Italy. Playing on the tradition of rural foraging, Paladin Agricanto combines the nuance of grappa with rich, red Raboso wine. In this case the sour gets all dolled up with complex notes of cherry, mint, and warm baking spices.

Recipe

Ingredients:

2 oz Landry Bourbon

¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice

½ oz Simple Syrup

2 oz Paladin Agricanto

Tools: Jigger, Barspoon

Combine Bourbon, lemon and simple in a shaker with ice. Shake gently. Strain into a Collins glass filled with crushed ice. Top with Paladin Agricanto. Stir gently to incorporate Garnish with a lemon twist and cocktail cherry.

Put a twist on your tea service with this bourbon-based take on an Arnold Palmer. Rich and robust Landry Stakes Bourbon partners with simple pantry staples for a cocktail that’s fast and utterly sippable. If you don’t have mint bitters, round it out with a citrus bitter substitute.

Ingredients:

2 oz Landry Bourbon

2 oz Black Iced Tea 

1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

½ oz Simple Syrup

4 Dashes Mint Bitters

Fresh Mint

Tools: Jigger, Barspoon

Combine all ingredients except fresh mint into a shaker with ice. Shake gently to combine. Pour over fresh cubed ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a sprig of expressed, fresh mint.
