My eval sheets are out of order.
These brands are all about the audience. Wines will not be taken seriously at a restaurant with a wine buyer, but if matched with the right accounts could be strong.
In general though the pricing needs to come down to be competitive in TX.
*OW#2 SB is decent and fits the bill.
OW#5 Bubbles is not as good as it should be.
OW#6 Rose is fine, but just another rose. Balance and flavor are there though.
*Apres Sol…i think this is a winner. Label is great. Wine is good.
Les Pres Verts Chard. — very creamy and a little sweet. especially for france. Pricepoint is good though. Not sure our TX team will love it.
*OW#1 Red blend Completely decent. Fits the bill.
OW#3 Pinot…also fine, but likely overlooked. Definitely light, but not so lively. Needs a new vintage.
*Beau Charmois PN…sweet fruit, dry finish, but pretty good. LOVE the label.
*Pas Touche Chinon …. crazy pirizine, but very expressive nose, definitely has some natty spritz. Good label. I think there’s an audience for this wine and category.
On the whole, I think that the quality of these wines from juice to label is significantly below par even for the pricepoint. If there are significant chain depletions that don’t require “selling” I think its fine. However, if they have to be sold, we have better.

Think the # series wines require a chain home for any sustainable success. The elevated labels the PN would work the chard is a hard pass

Overall, the range is a bit over priced for quality. Labels are current and fun.
