The founder, Theodora R. Lee spends her day job as a San Francisco trial lawyer, and is a native Texan. Beyond the estate vineyard, a Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is produced from the Cortada Alta Vineyard
Other than the PN which was a dud, I think this is an interesting brand. Not a home run, but something that we should explore more
Cuvee blanc and the 19 petite sirah were the winners for me here. Also, Theodora is a force to be reckoned with (ei in Forbes, Bloomberg, WE, all the big mags). As more buyers look to diversify their programs and support BIPOC, the wine will continue to have excellent momentum. I could see this landing in Central Market, no problem.
