There are only a couple of weeks left until New Years and we have bubbles on the brain 🧠 🍾 Specifically, @GoutorbeBouillot Le Ru des Charmes Brut Rosé. Goutorbe Bouillot is a small grower Champagne estate located in the village of Damery just west of Epernay. Family-owned and run since 1911, the 8 hectares of 30 different parcels of vineyards extend over the Vallée de la Marne with a focus on Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.
Le Ru des Charmes Brut is a rosé comprised of 60-year-old Pinot Meunier (60%), with equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Roundness and elegance are the trademark of this cuvée, displaying red and black fruit, with a long voluptuous finish. Try it with your favorite mezze board, goat cheeses, or cioppino for the perfect winter pairing.
