Are You Game

Fowles is nestled in the heart of the Strathbogie Ranges, a landscape marked by ancient granite boulders and steeped in rich stories. We farm, hunt, prepare, and share, inviting everyone on a culinary adventure that connects them to the very source of flavour. Respecting our land with generations of knowledge, we are driven by a passion for improving farming practices, creating a sustainable future. With a thirst for discovery and the unknown, Fowles champions the adventurous spirit, those curious enough to take the path less travelled.

Fowles combines world-class wine and food experiences with a deep connection to place, creating unforgettable moments for friends and family. From the gold rush in the 1800s to the vibrant blossoms of spring today, our hardworking team continues to innovate, making Fowles one of Australia’s leading cool-climate wine producers and one of Victoria’s most welcoming farm, food, and wine destinations. We capture all of this in every bottle, and it’s in every bottle that you’ll discover the unexpected.

Philosophy

Growing grapes, hunting for our table, and raising a farm give our family a true understanding of this land. Inspired by Matt Fowles’ love of hunting and gathering, Are you Game? wines bring out the best in wild food. Vibrant in color, aromatic, and fine in texture, these wines capture pure fruit flavors, the resulting blend is captivating—graceful yet full of character and a perfect complement to food. Each bottle reflects our bond with the land, blending elegance with flavors crafted for the wild.
