Caves de Sancerre
In 1963, several winegrowers in the Sancerre region got together to create a common tool for the vinification and sale of their wine. Cave des Vins de Sancerre, the only cooperative today within the Sancerre appellation, was created. Our original values have not changed–solidarity among the growers, the sharing of know-how, and the demand for quality. Today, our 92 member growers, divided among 12 communes continue to perpetuate and expand upon the work of the cooperative’s founders, which is based on an ethic of social and solidarity-based economy.

Philosophy
From harvest and grape collection through to blending and sales, the growers, backed by the winery teams, manage the entire process, which guarantees you certified quality Sancerre wines.
