Ch Couronneau

When Bénédicte and Christophe Piat visited the site in Bordeaux for the first time in 1994, it was a real crush despite the state of the building. The walls were collapsing, and the vines were decimated, but this did not discourage the couple from becoming winegrowers and starting their family in this magical place. In 1997, after three years of restructuring and heavy work, they decided to switch the entire estate to organic farming. Despite technical difficulties and prejudices about organic practices at the time, they persevered in their convictions and switched to biodynamics in 2005.
