Tenuta Fertuna
This extraordinary adventure started in 1997 Fertuna. The name refers to the fertility of the land and the fortune of the men who get to cultivate it. They see the light in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, a land where the ancient Etruscans had developed their flourishing civilization, dedicating themselves to agriculture in centuries past. The estate is set up in an area highly devoted to viticulture, in a place where nature dominates; between wild and spontaneous vegetation, the human hand has acted with delicate harmony, designing an amphitheater of vineyards.
Philosophy
We thought we’d talk about wine against the backdrop of our vineyard. The parcels of vines are specifically marked on paper, but first marked by the composition of the soil, the grapes in perfect arrangement. Only from stress-free grapes can you get quality we have sought from the beginning, in accordance with typicity and ultimate quality. The range of our wines faithfully reflects what we think, what we taste, what we drink our wines with everyday, and what we experience. It is the satisfaction of those who enjoy our wines that remains the greatest reward for our work, and the joy of continuing the tradition
