All wines are estate grown in this cool climate region with a focus on Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon. The ethos of Alkoomi’s vineyard management has always been to favor quality over quantity, and to manage the property in an environmentally sustainable manner. All vines are pruned by hand and no herbicides or pesticides are in the vineyard. Any water that is used comes from rain and is collected in damns and tanks.
