Winemaking This wine comes from many vineyards ot the Côte de Nuits-Villages appellation area. The harvest is 50% manual and 50 % mechanical. Traditional vinification, 95 % destemming, 3 to 5 days cold maceration and around 15 days fermentation.
Aging 12 months in oak barrels

Tasting Notes Red and black fruit berry notes with peppery notes. Intense on the palate, with great finesse and balanced tannins.

30 to 60 year old vines pruned the "cordons de Royat" way to control yields.
