The Story

This superb Manzanilla comes from a solera of fifteen casks that already belong to the universal wine heritage. It was never bottled until 2008, when Equipo Navazos selected it as the 10th edition of the 'La Bota de…' series, followed a couple of years later by the 20th edition 'Bota Punta' and several subsequent ones that have rightly enamored hundreds of connoisseurs of quality wine around the world. Under the direction of Eduardo Ojeda, for a decade it was under the care of Capataz Cabo, a Jerez native in Sanlúcar who represents, like few others, excellence in the tradition of winery managers in the Marco.

About Equipo Navazos

Producer Story

Equipo Navazos began as a passion project between two friends (Eduardo Ojeda and Jesús Barquín) with an enormous appreciation for their beloved sherry. In 2005 they began to acquire specific butts from the cellars of Jerez, Sanlúcar and El Puerto, as well as in and around Montilla, to share with friends and aficionados alike. The selections were so well received that, through the support of various importers, sommeliers, oenologists, writers and distributors, Equipo Navazos grew into what it is today: a collection of exceptional sherries from the most prestigious, and oft undiscovered, Andalusian producers.
