Valley, 16% Alabama Vineyard, Wairau Valley
The fruit was harvested in the cool of the morning and transferred to the winery. The individual blocks were fermented separately, mostly in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, but 2% of the blend was barrel fermented. The Koha Sauvignon Blanc was then blended from a selection of batches split across our three complementary vineyard sites.

This strong sense of place is what the MacDonald family is about, it's build around history and family because they have never left this part of the world. The Koha is a small production range by te Pā Wines that reflects the quality of the Wairau Bar region.
