Tasting Notes The 2018 Titus Family Estate Reserve shows the typical concentration and depth that is typical of the vines grown in rocky soils at our Ehlers Lane Vineyard. The wine is dark with aromas of cassis, blueberry, roasted coffee, molasses and lifted floral notes. The body is dense and powerful on entry with purity displaying black raspberry, blueberry, and black currant flavors. The structure is focused with mouthcoating tannins that draw the wine through the palate. The finish is richand lingering, accented by essences of cigar box, dark chocolate and espresso. Enjoy 2029-2038.
Selling Point Our pinnacle primary blend is from our Ehlers Lane Vnyd

The Story

• Our Ehlers Lane vineyard lies to the north of the winery estate, on the northern boundry of the St. Helena AVA. • The volcanic slope and rocky stream bed soils yields small Cabernet Sauvignon berries and concentrated fruit which forms the core of this wine. • Multiple picking passes from Ehlers Lane are fermented individually and are evaluated throughout elevage.

About Titus Vineyards

Brand Story

Titus Vineyards is a family owned 50-acre vineyard and winery located in the heart of the St. Helena AVA at the base of Howell Mountain along the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley. In the last half-century, some of the Valley's finest wines, including Beaulieu Vineyards, Cuvaison and Charles Krug have originated from our historic vineyards. The documented history of the property extends back to 1841 and includes General Mariano Vallejo, Dr. Edward Bale, Charles Krug, and Eli York, just to name a few. The land has been continuously farmed for over 150 years, with the Titus family’s first harvest coming in 1969. Our modern-day legacies of winemaking and land stewardship are now reflected in the distinctive and well-balanced wines made here at the Titus Vineyards winery.
