About Ch La Genestiere

Brand Story

Originally established in 1930, the 40-hectare estate of Château la Genestière was acquired by M. Garcin in 1944. M. Garcin painstakingly worked to improve the property and increased its reputation in the region. The centerpiece of the domaine’s production became the Tavel Rosé. M. Garcin and his son, Raphaël, acquired additional vineyards over time, expanding from Tavel and Lirac production into a special project of producing varietal and regional wines in the rugged garrigue terroir just outside of Tavel. These are high-quality, domaine-produced wines for casual drinking made from traditional Rhone varietals bottled as regional Rouge, Blanc and Rosé. The property was purchased in 2015 by Christian Latouche, owner of two domaines in Les Baux-de-Provence.
