Mix of whole bunch & destemmed berries that are gravity pressed on left on skins for 40 days with 2X pump overs daily. Partially carbonic, fully native yeast fermentation. Unfined. Filtered prior to bottling.

The Story

Dubbed ‘The Pinot noir of the Swartland,’ it is made from 36 year old dry farmed grapes grown in the South of the Swartland. Cinsault, once relegated to the sidelines as the parent of pinotage, has launched a comeback as the favored son of South Africa’s winelands.
