The Character

Tasting Notes The 2018 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, with its abundance light cherry and rose pedals sustained by notes of tobacco and pine in the nose, walks a fine line between the delicate and the rich and dense. On the tongue, ripe cherry, plum, and toasted almonds fill the cheeks while roasted wild mushrooms flesh out the palate.
Pairings Roasted & grilled dishes, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheese

About Pellegrini

Brand Story

Family owned for four generations, Pellegrini Wine Company is located in the Russian River Valley. The Pellegrini family name has been associated with every tier of the wine business since the early part of the 20th Century, from grape sellers to wholesale wine distribution. In 1973, the Pellegrinis purchased a 70-acre apple, plum & olive orchard on West Olivet Road. They planted Pinot Noir & Chardonnay, developing one of the region’s first vineyards devoted exclusively to these two varieties— the Olivet Lane Vineyard. It was one of the first Pinot Noir estates in the Russian River Valley, and over the years has been the grape source for many of the Valley’s Pinot Noir luminaries, in addition to the family’s own award-winning Olivet Lane Vineyard Chardonnay & Pinot Noir.
