The Story

Our family has been making port style wines for over three quarters of a century. The accumulated knowledge and experience gained over that time have contributed to making the Victoria Tawny. Richard Buller has blended together wines from his extensive stocks to produce a fine young Tawny. Ideal for after dinner. Excellent value for money.

About R.L. Buller

Producer Story

Established in Rutherglen in 1921 by Reginald Langdon Buller, the ‘Calliope Vineyard’ was named after the only surviving ship from the Great Hurricane of Samoa - 1889. A.B. (Banjo) Patterson’s ‘Ballad Of The Calliope’, tells the tale in stirring fashion. Reginald’s vision of his new enterprise successfully sailing through the tempests of business and agricultural life proved prophetic. After almost 100 years Buller Wines is testament to the foresight of Reginald and is a leading winery within North East Victoria.
