The Story

True Grit wines are a testament to the Parducci Family’s passion, perseverance, and GRIT to achieve a singular dream. The longest running winery in Mendocino County, and the only one to survive into modern day, Parducci Wine Cellars is an enduring legacy. True Grit wines pay tribute to this spirit and the Parducci Family, and are crafted with the same unwavering commitment. The two bold, intense red wines - a cabernet sauvignon and flagship estate petite sirah - are a celebration of the power one's TRUE GRIT can have to overcome any obstacle. The petite sirah is sourced from the Home Ranch Vineyard, and is CCOF certified made with organic grapes.

About True Grit

Producer Story

A sixteen year old boy stowing away aboard a steamer from Italy to California. A temperance movement that led to 13 years of Prohibition. A depression, The Great Depression, that lasted for 10 years from 1929 to 1939, wreaking economic hardship around the world.

A family that refused to let their dream be destroyed, planting vineyards and building a winery by hand without electricity or power tools.

A winery, Parducci Wine Cellars, bonded on August 1, 1933,one of only 70 wineries left in California out of over 350 that existed pre-prohibition. Today, Parducci Wine Cellars is recognized as the longest running winery in Mendocino County and the only winery to survive into modern day.

Together the Parducci family built a legacy, a legacy that we honor today with True Grit wines.
