The Story

De Martino Estate Organic Carmenere is grown in gravelly soils of Isla de Maipo and crafted with certified organic practices. Hand-harvested and destemmed, the grapes undergo cold maceration and native yeast fermentation in stainless steel. Half the wine is aged in used French oak, the rest in tank, preserving fruit purity and structure. The result is a smooth, spice-lifted red with dark berry aromas, a supple palate, and lasting freshness -- an honest expression of Chilean Carmenere.
