The Story

Viejas Tinajas Cinsault comes from 50-year-old bush vines on decomposed granite in Chile’s Itata Valley. Hand-harvested and destemmed, the grapes undergo semi-carbonic fermentation in 150–200-year-old clay amphorae with native yeasts. The wine matures through winter in amphorae and is bottled in spring without fining or filtration. A tribute to Chile’s earliest winemaking traditions, this Cinsault is vibrant, mineral-driven, and full of character.
