The Story

De Martino Las Cruces 2021 is a field blend of Malbec and Carménère from a dry-farmed vineyard planted in 1957 in Chile’s Cachapoal Valley. Hand-harvested and wild-fermented, it sees extended maceration, followed by 9 months in used barrels and 10 months in a large Stockinger foudre. The result is a wine of deep floral aromatics, fine tannins, and lifted acidity—offering a vivid portrait of place and vine age. A standout from De Martino’s Old Vine Series.
