The Story

Donnachadh is an organically farmed vineyard in the heart of the Santa Rita Hills AVA. The property was planted in 2013, the culmination of a dream for owners Drew and Laurie Duncan. Pinot Noir vines are midslope on a north-facing hillside where coastal fog and cooling winds prolong the growing season. Well-drained soils with clays derived from marine shale give a lean nutrient diet and just the right amount of moisture. In this bottling, Dijon clones blend with Califonia heritage grapes for a captivating marriage of old world elegance with Golden State exuberance.
