Mouthfeel Soft & Mouthwatering
Tasting Notes Its elegant profile reflects its coastal home with a union of soft textural components and lively fruit. It’s compatible with a myriad of light dishes and just as enticing sipped on its own. The exotic aroma shows off spicy notes of cardamom, tamarind, allspice and cinnamon. This expands into mouthwatering candied red cherries and berry fruits: red raspberries, wild strawberries, ripe boysenberries and juicy blackberries. Cocoa nibs, cola, white chocolate, candied violets, crème brûlée, caramel and just a hint of blood orange add layers of complexity.

About Merry Edwards

Producer Story

As one of California’s first women winemakers, Merry began her career at Mount Eden Vineyards in 1974. At home in the Russian River Valley since 1977, Merry Edwards has explored its hills, pockets, slopes & hollows, discovering small sites where choosing the right rootstock, clone & farming techniques can produce exceptional grapes. This led her in 1996 to purchase land in the Sebastopol Hills. In 2019, Maison Louis Roederer acquired the Merry Edwards Winery. Frédéric Rouzaud, owner & President, is focused on ensuring continuity & adhering to the core values by which both wineries are connected: producing wines emblematic of their terroirs, all the while pushing the boundaries of land stewardship.
