The Character

Tasting Notes The nose is elegantly expressive, offering vibrant citrus aromas layered with notes of fresh hay, white flowers, and toasted almonds. On the palate, it is both rich and precise, with a remarkable freshness and flavors of lemon zest, white peach, and a hint of brioche. The wine's minerality shines through, providing a long, refined finish.

The Story

Champagne Thiénot Vigne aux Gamins is a prestigious Blanc de Blancs made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes sourced from a single, meticulously tended parcel in the Grand Cru village of Avize. The vines, over 60 years old, thrive on pure chalk soils, contributing to the wine's exceptional finesse and mineral-driven character. This Champagne represents the pinnacle of Thiénot's craftsmanship, emphasizing terroir and vintage specificity.

About Thienot

Producer Story

Now proudly presiding over the Champagne House established by their father in 1985, for Garance and Stanislas Thiénot, their every move is guided by the single-minded pursuit of cultivating the intrinsic spirit of the land.

For almost 20 years as a broker in Champagne, Alan Thiénot combed the region’s rolling hills in search of only the finest grapes for prominent, centuries-old Champagne Houses, and year after year honed his knowledge of the Champagne region. His father had previously managed Champagne Irroy, while his grandfather, a glassmaker, crafted high-quality bottles.
