The Story

The lower slopes of the hill, oriented towards the south and west, are destined for the production of a classic Barolo. Here the soil is medium-textured, rich in carbonates with a good balance of nutrients. The sandy component is exceeded by the clay, which is rich in calcium and potassium. The fertility of these vines is somewhat restrained and the alternation of poorer and more fertile areas provides for diversified ripening, which ensures a broad range of sensory qualities.
