Serendipity Loves

We’re traveling back in time this month, revisiting some of the earliest partnerships that made Serendipity what it is today! Re-explore these Serendipity classics:

J. Bookwalter

The story of J. Bookwalter Winery is a story of family heritage, deep roots and a centuries-old commitment to the land. Today, J. Bookwalter has grown from one of Washington’s oldest wineries into one of Pacific Northwest’s most recognized boutique wine brands, relying on exceptional vineyard sources and meticulous winemaking to produce some of the world’s finest wines.

Vina Robles

Vina Robles owns and farms six Certified Sustainable vineyards in five sub-districts in the Paso Robles region. Known primarily for their Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah, the Vina Robles lineup includes a wide range of varieties and creative blends. While adhering to traditional winemaking methods, veteran winemaker Kevin Willenborg implements modern technologies to make his estate wines.

San Silvestro

Investment and innovation: these are just some of the keywords that characterize San Silvestro, whose story starts in 1871, when Giovanni Sartirano began to produce and sell its wines in the Langhe region. San Silvestro deeply identifies with Piedmont, and works with traditional varieties such as Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Grignolino, Arneis, Cortese and Moscato.

From the Blog: Francesca Paladin

Speaking of old loves, Serendipity’s partnership with the Casa Paladin group goes back over a decade! Over the years we’ve watched them thrive and recently had the chance to catch up with their proprietor (and 3rd generation descendant), Francesca Paladin. We share her insights into the Casa Paladin group, and dig a little deeper into the stories behind their sparkling (red) Raboso and unrivaled herbal liqueur, Agricanto. READ HERE

Dallas Sales Representative

“I’m originally from Abilene, TX but my dad was a career Marine, so I’ve lived in Japan, Italy, Germany, and several states in the US. I visited the Moët Chandon Champagne house and caverns when I was 13 and it blew me away how serious everyone was about what I thought was glorified grape juice. My uncle owns a bar in San Antonio so I began barbacking and learning what I could. After college I went to work for a distributor and began to find a lot more interest in wine. It really stuck when I visited my parents in Italy— where I met a sommelier who taught me everything he could in the 3 short weeks I was there. After that there was no turning back! So far my favorite wine in the Serendipity portfolio is the Il Monticello Groppolo Vermentino.
