About Domaine Malleron
Producer Story
Vintner from father to son for over a century, Domaine René Malleron is driven by the family spirit. The domaine of 35 acres needs the full attention of 3 people, who fully dedicate themselves to the vineyard. Situated at the South of Sancerre in a peaceful village, the vineyard is located at the feet of the surrounding hillsides. The estate stretches over 28.5 acres of Sauvignon Blanc and 6.2 acres vinified as rose and red wines. They believe the vineyard is the beginning of a good vintage. Domaine René Malleron practices sustainable agriculture. Any chemical sprayings are made only if it's necessary. They let grass and weeds grow between the rows to attract beneficial insects and stave erosion.
