The Character
Tasting Notes Complex bouquet of brambly red fruits, black olive, smoke, and earthy, herbal notes. On the palate, it presents flavors of ripe fruit balanced by a powerful minerality, with streaks of espresso and hints of bloody meat, leading to a chewy, lightly peppery finish.

The Story
Pink granite Cornas clone Syrah - close your eyes and get transported to the Rhone! From Syrah cultivated in Mae's Vineyard, located in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. The vineyard's loamy clay and marine sediment soils overlay a granite slab, contributing to the wine's distinctive minerality. The southeast-facing slopes provide optimal sunlight exposure, enhancing grape ripening.
