Winemaking Harvested in the third week of August, the fruit was directly pressed into stainless tanks to initiate a long, slow, cold fermentation. From that point with this vintage, we put a portion of it into custom French oak Sauvignon Blanc barrels to finish and age for two months, thus adding broadness and complexity to this fresh, brightly balanced wine.

Tasting Notes This has an interesting combination of grapefruit and pineapple aromatics that carry onto a palate accented with sweet herbs, melon, and a hint of lime for a crisp, dry release. Well balanced, broad with structure and a long finish.

We are proud to include some of Lodi's finest growers as our Scotto Family Cellars partners, including the Fry Family and their Mohr-Fry Ranch Vineyard. We share a multi-generational history in Lodi and a devotion to crafting some of this appellations' best wines.
In 2020 we introduced another award winner, Scotto Family Cellars Brut, which received a 92 Point/Top 100 Best Buy rating from The Wine Enthusiast. It was the first release from our state of the art, custom produced sparkling bottling line.
