The Story
This is a Valpolicella Classico Superiore made in the Ripasso style. It is not sweet as it has only 6 grams per liter of residual sugar. He chooses to not put Ripasso on the label because he doesn't want to compare it to other ripassos which, in his opinion, are too over done and don't represent the style properly. He prefers to make wines of elegance with a deft hand.
