Tasting Notes Brilliant red in color, the pleasant aromas of red fruit, plums, and violets stand out against a background of tobacco, graphite, damp underbrush, and toasty oak. We make it with a blend of Sangiovese grapes selected from all of our vineyards, rounded out with a small addition of Merlot.

The Story

This is the winery’s most historic wine, the first Viticcio label. The 2018 vintage marks the 53rd anniversary of its very first wine. Made with a blend of Sangiovese grapes selected from all of Viticcio's vineyards, the entire winery plays a part in preserving its history.
