The Story

After leaving our Wine garage in 2019, Didier Cote, the owner of our new cellar, offered us the opportunity to take over his plot of old vines in the village of Tupin and Semons. We were completely captivated by it because it represents everything we are passionate about here in CÔTE-RÔTIE. The granitic terroir of the Cote blonde, with slopes ranging from 40 to 50%, has more terraces than vines! Each “chey” (terrace) contains 3 or 4 vine plants planted in the 1980s.

About Dom Bott

Producer Story

Julie Bott was born in the Northern Rhône Valley and Graeme Bott is from New Zealand. They met in the small village of Ampuis while working for Stephane Ogier, a producer in Côte-Rôtie. Their passion for wine was the motivation behind the decision to create their own wine estate in the Northern Rhône Valley and together they planted Viognier and Syrah vines in the appellations of CONDRIEU, CÔTE-RÔTIE, SAINT-JOSEPH and SEYSSUEL.
