Tasting Notes Intense, very ripe red berries with hints of fresh mushrooms and pomegranate. Light tobacco, too. Full, fruity palate with tight, fine tannins that push the fruit through the long finish. Delicious, ripe pinot.

The Story
This is a single vineyard Pinot Noir from Mount Etna, the vineyard, Militi, is in the commune of Randazzo on the Northern slope of Etna. The vines are a massal selection of different clones of Pinot Noir from Burgundy. The vines grow on a lava terrace and are surrounded by a chestnut forest.
