Established in 1882, Spottswoode Estate is distinguished by the pre-Prohibition Victorian home depicted on their wine label. Spottswoode releases an annual Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and an Estate Sauvignon Blanc.
In 1980, Mark Lyon purchased 149 acres of vineyards located at the northern end of Alexander Valley. Originally planted in early 1970 by Rodney Strong, the estate is famous for producing exceptional Bordeaux varietals and has some of the oldest producing Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon vines in Sonoma County.
The Skinner Winery embodies the adventurous spirit exemplified by James Skinner as a California Gold Rush pioneer and winemaker, blending old-world skill and traditions with advanced environmental opportunities that protect and respect the land and future. Built with 80% recycled steel, the spacious, 12,000 sq ft. winery was carefully designed to support chemical-free, small-lot fermentations for uncompromised quality within an energy-efficient environment that incorporates solar power, night air fans and strategically placed, humidity-controlled work bays to the north.
Vignobles Sullivan is owned by US billionaire Tom Sullivan, who amassed his fortune in construction and renovation, and who never expected to own a winery. He happened upon the estate in Canon-Fronsac and couldn’t pass up on the opportunity!
Terre Stregate was founded in 1988 by Armando Iacobucci, and today is run by his children Filomena and Carlo. The family is in its 5th generation of winemaking, starting in 1898 with Filippo Iacobucci.
Smith Story Wines are made with respect for the land, kindness for the grower and, love from the winemaker. Each vineyard they work with is owned by families to ensure their present and future success as grape growers. The wines show restraint, balance and integrity of the grape. Their winemaking philosophy is to utilize classic, European techniques and let the grapes and sense of place where they are grown both speak for themselves.
Sister and brother team Fanny and François Boyer are the 4th generation of their family to own Château Beaubois, established in 1920 and covering a total of 60 hectares in the Costières de Nîmes AOC of the Southern Rhone Valley. They bring out the best of their unique terroir, producing wines of pure freshness, elegance, and depth. The Boyers are pioneers in an appellation known for its innovation and commitment to sustainability, with their winery being the first to go Terra Vitis 20 years ago, gaining organic certification in 2009, and vintages from 2017 on being certified Biodynamic as well.
Jeremy Nickel continues his family’s rich legacy and history in the Napa Valley through his own vineyards and wine. His story begins with his father, Gil Nickel – who was one of the founders of Far Niente, founded Dolce and later, Nickel & Nickel. The wines of the Vineyard House and Jeremy Nickel Cellars pay tribute to his father Gil. Jeremy grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay.
George Hendry and his family have grown grapes on the same family farm in Napa Valley since 1939. Through more than eighty years of harvests, their connection to the land has deepened, and their knowledge has grown. Hendry Ranch is composed of 203 acres situated in the low, rolling hills just northwest of Napa, at the foot of Mt. Veeder, and includes 114 acres under vine.
Château l’Ermite d’Auzan was founded in the 12th century by the hermits, or monks, of Ste Cécile d’Estagel Abbey. It is situated on the pilgrimage road of Santiago de Compostella, where the monks used to produce wine for pilgrims. The first winery of Château l’Ermite d’Auzan was established in the early 1800s.
Kiki & Juan is the celebration of a vivacious friendship that was sparked when two wine pros, Kerin “Kiki” Auth Bembry and John “Juan Casa” House, met on a bus in Spain in 2011 and sparked an instant connection that would ignite their business partnership, La Luz Selections. That same bond is the foundation of their newest collaboration: Kiki & Juan – a certified organic liter that illuminates a nearly forgotten, historical wine region of Utiel Requena while highlighting the exceptional value and large format drinkability.
